Heather MacDonald Memorial ScholarshipHere's a note from Eastern MSIC President Amanda Dawe-Ledwell: Calling all Interns and Teachers with Interns! The Eastern Division of the MSIC is now accepting applications for the Heather MacDonald Scholarship. The intent of this scholarship is to recognize the future of music education in Newfoundland and Labrador by offering financial assistance to an outstanding music education intern. The scholarship has a cash value of $500.00. The application is attached. |

The MEA Professional Development Travel fund is to assist members who are travelling to conferences and/or professional development opportunities over
250km from their residence. This grant can be combined with other travel grants such as those from the NLTA.
To be eligible for funding applicants must be an active member of the NLMEA. All projects must focus on the professional development of educators.
